Assistant Professor and Director of Harvard/MIT Laboratory for Neuromotor Signal Processing

Wasim is a professor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He directs a research laboratory whose focus is on developing wearable technology and artificial intelligence techniques for clinically relevant neurological diagnostics and rehabilitation. He is a Core Committee Member of the IEEE Brain Initiative and the Chair of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society’s Boston Chapter. He is also involved with various med-tech and analytics startups in advisory and leadership roles. He received his PhD in engineering from Oxford and postdoctoral training in neuroscience at MIT and Harvard.
