Mark Laich has a unique combination of expertise in sensors and cyber security.  He is a 30 year veteran of technology sales, business development, marketing and strategy consulting.  As VP of Sales & Marketing at MEMSIC, Mr. Laich led the product launch of the company’s magnetic sensor portfolio, developing the product into a $40M business.  He went on to lead the business develop efforts at Qualtre, where he led the creation of a strategic partnership for the company’s innovative bulk acoustic wave gyro technology with Alps Electric.  In 2014, Mr. Laich joined SnoopWall, a cyber security company developing mobile app and network security solutions, where he developed a deep understanding of cyber threats such as spear phishing and ransomware, critical vulnerabilities (CVE’s) of IoT systems, and the GLBA, HIPAA and PCI compliance landscape.  Mr. Laich is currently President of Laich Advisory Associates, a consulting company offering business development and strategy services to sensor and cyber security companies.  He is also VP of North American Sales at Blue Karma Security, a cyber security channel partner with expertise in Email Security, Encryption, DLP, SIEM, Firewalls, Network Access Control, and Back-up solutions from companies which are leaders in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant like Intel Security, Sophos, Trend Micro, Fortinet, Aruba, Cisco, Kaspersky, Forescout, Unitrends, Alien Vault, Symantec, Check Point, Vison Solutions, Veeam, and Zix.
